Letter from Dr Peter Wadhams to Michael Roll (August 11, 2000): Survival After Death

In his letter, Dr Wadhams writes:
"(...) everyone in the UK is brought up from childhood (...) with basic Christian concepts which include the survival of death. But nobody (including priests) then thinks or says any more about it - indeed, death is a forbidden subject in our society."

"Acceptance of survival after death is something which produces a shattering change in one's whole outlook on life (...). In my case, it didn't, and I think I know why. It was just intellectual acceptance (...). I never achieved emotional acceptance of survival - which would mean being absolutely convinced by personal experience."

E-mail from Michael Roll to Professor Deborah L Delanoy (December 5, 2002): The Perrott-Warrick Scholarship

In his e-mail, Michael Roll writes:
"[Sir William Crookes] proved there are people living in the invisible part of the universe with repeatable experiments under laboratory conditions. Letter from Michael Roll to Professor Brian Josephson (December 1, 2002): Scientific Proof and the Media

In his letter, Michael Roll writes:
"Whenever a scientist makes a public stand and links so-called paranormal phenomena with quantum mechanics, that is, hints that there may be a rational scientific explanation to account for any aspect of the "paranormal", it's as if a button is pushed on media computers and a list of names pop up of "experts" who will immediately be wheeled on to rubbish any scientist who dares to support Sir William Crookes and Sir Oliver Lodge, the pioneers of radio, television and subatomic physics."

E-mail from Michael Roll to Montague Keen (December 2, 2003): Perrott-Warrick

In his e-mail, Michael Roll writes:
"I can't understand why the latest recipient of money from the Perrott-Warrick fund, Prof. Delanoy, refuses to take part in any experiments with a materialisation medium. This is the only type of medium that can actually prove survival after death with repeatable experiments under laboratory conditions where all five of our senses are working."
