Lord Sainsbury of Turville
Minister of Science
House of Lords
London SW1A

8th September 2000

Dear Lord Sainsbury,

I am in receipt of your communication dated 5th September via my MP Dr. Roger Berry.

The fact remains that the British public only have access to Professor Susan Greenfield's opinion that the mind and the brain are the same thing. No qualified scientist, however distinguished, is allowed to even just present the case for a separate mind and brain in what is meant to be a free country.

The whole point of writing to you in the first place was to let you know that "scientists" who support Prof. Greenfield's views are using the peer review system to censor all scientists who try to balance the orthodox case that death is the end of everything - oblivion.

You leave me with no alternative but to try and obtain a balance via the European Court of Human Rights. I am sending the file to my barrister Derek Willmott MM.

Yours sincerely

Michael Roll
