Wake up Britain

Dear Lyn,

Once again we in Britain are throwing away one of our national assets, your front page tells the sad story of Chris Robinson taking his great gift to America, despite a demonstration on national TV backed up by scientific evidence provided by Professor Gary E. Schwartz, our psychic institutions seem to have no interest in pursuing his remarkable ability to foretell future happenings. For some years I was a member of such institutions and innocently assumed that they were continuing the great work of their founders, unfortunately opportunities to continue investigation into the realm of psychic science do not seem to be their present purpose.

Surely the account of the physical mediumship demonstrations that Violet Eccles so lucidly describes taking place through the mediumship of David Thompson in Australia, are sufficient for scientists in this country to investigate soul survival and for people in this country to be made aware of the work done by Ronald Pearson in providing logical scientific explanations. It is of course significant that despite the writings of Swedenborg in the eighteenth century it was America that provided acceptable evidence of survival during the nineteenth century, are we to once again ignore the evidence of survival which could provide a new philosophy so badly needed in the twenty first century.
