Bush Primed by Evangelicals for Armageddon Scenario [Posted: February 4, 2003]

To all British journalists and broadcasters:

Take heart, the Jeff Rense notice board receives 7 million hits a month. Many Americans are fighting very hard to stop the crusaders in their tracks.

Jack Van Impe is a demagogic television evangelist in the USA. This "question of the week" was put to Jack Van Impe by one of his viewers. The article and the comments below are taken from: www.rense.com (December 11, 2002).

Jack Van Impe Question Of The Week

Do you think President Bush, a Christian man, believes or knows he's involved with prophetic events concerning the Middle East and the final battle between good and evil?

Jack Van Impe responds:

First of all, Billy Graham led George W. Bush Jr. to the Lord Jesus Christ when he visited the White House. President Bush has attended many of Billy Graham's crusades and during those crusades, Billy Graham always preaches once or twice on Christ's return and all the prophetical signs.

Secondly, Rexella and I were in the home of President Bush Senior. What a great time we had with his wife Barbara, in fact, she's even written us four personal letters and we have them hanging up in our memorabilia room. We gave her the message on video, "The Coming War with Russia" and many of our books to share with her husband, George Bush Sr. Of course, I now have sent the video, "Jerusalem: War or Peace" to all the leaders of our nation.

A teacher from Texas who lives down the street from the Bush's and is a personal friend to them, asked me to come to Texas so I could personally hand him a copy. I said I couldn't because I'm just swamped with work to do, so she said she'd personally see that he gets a copy.

I know that he as seen this video, "Jerusalem: War or Peace". His brother in Florida, Jeb Bush, has seen it because he wrote me the most heartfelt letter. So, yes, I think George W. knows that he's destined for this final hour in prophetic history.

Jeff -

Once you digest this article, it could very well be the most ominous article you have ever published. Even if one doesn't believe in the 'end times scenarios', Bush does. And it appears he is prepared to usher that event in.

The last statement of the article says it all:

"So, yes, I think George W. knows that he's destined for this final hour in prophetic history."

This madman is prepared to be part of end time prophecy! Can you say ANTI-CHRIST? If that doesn't scare you, then nothing that is published about Bush will. Whatever your belief system is, you had better call on it right now. Time may not be with us. Keep your family close, and prepare for the worst.

Thanks for your continued diligence in your reporting. Everyone at rense.com should be commended.

Jeff, I agree with Brian. With "Christians" like these, we don't need enemies. How these people irk me - some of them are so naive, but certainly their "leaders" aren't. They turn my stomach. They are so stupid, they're dangerous.

Jeff -

I read Sonia's comment which I agree with, but couldn't help feeling the depravity that has been set into the Christian belief system in America. The vast majority of Christians will always blindly vote Republican based on their incorrect belief that Republicans are the party of Christians. Christian leaders run under the Republican Party, and the Republican Party is always backed by fanatics like Jerry Falwell, whom I believe is evil beyond words.

They (Christians) rally around the Republican agenda of anti-abortion, school prayer, private school funding, anti-evolution, etc. Unknowingly, they are in fact, electing the anti-Christian, anti-God, anti-humanity party. The Republicans are the party of the wealthy elite, power hungry war-mongering world dominating party that is set on ushering in end-time prophecy.

Look at the record - in the last 20 years or so, every Christian Republican leader we have elected in this country has set itself in starting and/or continuing the wars around the globe. Sorry, but I cannot bring myself to respect anybody that votes Republican. We should have learned from the Reagan and Bush Sr. Whitehouse what the Republican agenda is. The Republican Party is, and always will be the most dangerous party in America.

There are a lot of good Christian folk out there, but they have been duped into supporting the most evil agenda on the planet. In fact, I will go out on a limb and state that the Christian church has become the primary tool of evil. Unfortunately, it may be too late to take back our country.

Thanks again for the public forum - I hope America's eyes are opened to the pervasive evil that has crept into our system.

Comment From John McIntyre

Armageddon is a misunderstanding of the position.

Secondly, the events surrounding the Battle of Armageddon are clearly described in the Book of Revelation as being totally initiated by God, from heaven. God doesn't need our help to carry out his purposes. He never has. The Bible is clear that judgement belongs to God, including Armageddon, which is his judgement on the corrupt governments and economic systems ruling the earth.

Finally, for any Christian to try and force God's hand and bring about the end would be futile. Jesus' clear instructions about this to his followers are quite evident: "He who lives by the sword, will die by the sword." "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were my servants would fight for me. But as it is, my kingdom is from another place." "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority."

I could go on, but you get the picture. Anyone claiming to be a Christian and yet saying that Christians will have a part to play in bringing about the events leading up to Armageddon is reflecting a fringe viewpoint. It is not biblical, and is not adhered to by most Christians alive at this time in history.

Comment From Pastor C.D. Thomson 11-14-2

Dear Jeff,

I'd like to reassure your readers about one thing. Jack Van Impe and his wife Rexella (who must have hired Tammy Baker's former make-up consultant) do not represent the thinking of all Bible-believing Christians. In fact, I and my colleagues across denominiational lines concur with the research posted on your own website earlier this year, which indicates that many leading Christian television personalities are hirelings, one of the paymasters being Rev. Moon. Further, it is my belief that the infiltration of the Evangelical community in the United States has been part of a government-sponsored psyops program since the 1960's.

I do not doubt that the Bush family's links to high-profile personalities such as Billy Graham, and John Ashcroft's brand of what is known as "Christian Dominion Theology", are attempts to deceive the public and shield their crimes from possible scrutiny.

Most tragic of all, to my mind at least, is the fact that the divine revelation to the human race from the Almighty, known as the Holy Scriptures (Old Testament and New Testament), deserves to be read on its own merits, particularly in the critical stage of world history in which we find ourselves today, and not demeaned by false confessors. The charlatans who are 'household names' pervert its meaning, so that those who have not examined the Bible for themselves take their word for it when they say that the Battle of Armageddon could take place at any time.

A serious perusal of The Book of Revelation (The Apocalypse of St. John) will prove to any open-minded person that the Bible teaches that many dreadful developments on the world scene must transpire before the Battle of Armageddon is to be waged. It is my understanding that we stand at the brink of hell on earth, but that this is still a far cry from the true hell, the Lake of Fire, which awaits those who must answer to God for their actions. A pretence of Christian faith will not save them.
