Jeff,

thanks to you publishing the secular case for survival after death things have now started to move very quickly.

Those within the Spiritualist movement now realise just how important it is to repeat the pioneering experiments with materialisation mediums. This time using modern recording equipment under the direction of contemporary professors of physics from Cambridge University. Scientists who have not started from the base that the former President of the Royal Society, Sir William Crookes OM, was bonkers or a sex maniac - the official scientific line.

The following is published in this week's Psychic News: November 30, 2002

Let's Film The Proof Of Survival

I was very excited to read Violet Eccles's account of the phenomena that is being produced via the physical mediumship of David Thompson - "dead", recently deceased internationally famous people, fully materialising, speaking in the same voices they had on Earth, walking around the room and shaking hands with their old friends in the audience!

This is it, the crushing scientific proof of survival after death that we have all been waiting for. The experimental proof that matches up with Ronald Pearson's discoveries in subatomic physics.

All that has to be done now is to call in Professor Peter Wadhams, a physicist from Cambridge University who has started from the base that the pioneering experiments of Sir William Crookes were genuine, and then every person on Earth will be able to see on film the same thing that the Spiritualists in Australia have just witnessed.

The following has just been published in December's The Seeker magazine. This unites the thinkers within Islam and those in the West who had previously embraced materialism - when you are dead, you're dead.

Pakistani Nobel Laureate for Physics Excommunicated by Mullahs

I was delighted to receive news that schools in New Zealand are secular. Many years ago, at the time when I was blocked even from Spiritualist outlets, in desperation I stood outside my local school in Downend, giving out leaflets. The pupils demanded that I should be allowed to speak to them and in the event it turned out to be an incredible success. At the end of my talk all the 6th formers gathered around my desk taking pamphlets. On one side of my desk were the English students and the Muslims on the other. The following very exciting conversation them took place.

One of the Muslim students said to his English pal: "You see John, I told you we have a soul and survive death."

The English student then apologised to his Muslim friend, "Sorry Mohammed, it's just that I had never come across this scientific work before."

I had held up the letter of proof that the greatest scientist the Muslim world had ever produced, the Nobel Laureate for Physics, Professor Abdus Salam, had been excommunicated by the mullahs. Both the Muslim students and the English students were disgusted about this treatment meted out to Prof. Salam who had given me an official grant from the International Centre for Theoretical Physics as well as a number of donations from his own pocket.

This gave me great hope in those dark days when I had no outlet whatsoever for Arthur Findlay's secular case for survival after death.

Tony Blair never ceases to emphasise his unqualified admiration for Islam. Not only does he read the Koran, he is also determined to increase the number of faith-based schools, particularly for Muslims, in the state sector.
In reply to critics who doubt that such schools will have a full science curriculum, Dr. Nadeem Malik of Imperial College wrote to the 'Independent' the other day pointing out that the winner of the 1979 Nobel prize for physics, Abdus Salam (1926-1996), "was a devout Muslim from Pakistan".
Indeed he was. But Dr. Malik omitted to mention one salient fact. "You will be interested to know," Abdus Salam wrote to an acquaintance in 1982, "that officially I have already been excommunicated from Islam by the orthodox priests."
The mullahs who excommunicated the greatest scientist that the Islamic world has produced are, of course, precisely the kind of people whom Blair now wants to entrust with the minds of children in Britain.
